DAVEY ALLEN

Raised in the western New York suburbs of Rochester, Davey Allen is an emerging rocker from the Northeast and is breaking into the national spotlight with his powerful, gritty voice and electric live show performances. Davey started his music career in the summer of 2024, performing at local town bar open-mics with his acoustic guitar. Just a few short months later, he’s gigging in some of the most popular bars all around Rochester and exploding on TikTok. In 2025, Davey notably performed all over the country, including in Nashville, Rhode Island, at Fairport Music Festival, and even at the NYS Fair, where he’s known for covering today’s country, ‘90s hits, and 2000s rock from various artists. Now, he’s releasing his covers, which have millions of views across all social media platforms, while also writing his own music + collaborating with various writers in Nashville, Tennessee. Davey released his first song, a cover of “Nutshell” by Alice in Chains, on August 15th. His entire album, “The Path of Time: A Layne Staley Tribute,” was released on December 19th, which included the iconic “Stairwell Sessions” his fans fell in love with on social media. With his rise in popularity, Davey is gearing up for his 2026 Man in the Stairwell Acoustic Tour, which will include 15+ cities and multiple full band shows as well.

BACKSTORY

Davey started playing guitar when he was 12 years old and performing at his annual church coffee house in his high school years. Music was never the priority, though, as he had pursued playing college football since age 3. He found his home at the University of Rhode Island (URI) as the punter and placeholder for 4 seasons from 2019 to 2022. But he never lost his passion for music; it was just on hold until he graduated from URI in December of 2022 with a B.S. in Marketing and took his shot at the NFL, punting for 4 NFL teams at his Pro Day in March of 2023. Fast-forward to 2024, and Davey has found his second calling with music in songwriting, drawing inspiration from some of his favorite artists like Alice in Chains, Three Days Grace, Daughtry, Morgan Wallen, and more. On TikTok and other social media platforms, Davey has amassed hundreds of thousands of followers, millions of views, and a community of passionate rock and grunge fans who are excited for him to continue his music journey in 2026.
